  • Low FPS after format

hi guys, for the first time i'm having FPS problems in BF, performance was never a issue on my BF, i've formated other times before and everything was ok, i've allways played in medium settings at 800x600 with average 50 fps, but for some reason now i'm stuck at 20 fps even in allmost empty servers no matter what settings, i have 20 fps on low/medium/high settings and thats just weird.

the drivers i use and all the settings ingame are the same, pritty much everything is the same as it was before, but i cant find a reason for it and that's driving me mad :hmm:

i know the system specs arent the reason because it used to work flawless before, but here are the specs anyway:

    AthlonXP 2000+
    Radeon 9600XT 128MB
    Audigy 2
    1GB DDR333

BTW i've reinstalled BF2 alredy and didnt work.

    tks in advance

I know you said the drivers are the same, but did you remember to install the motherboard drivers (especially the agp/gart driver)?
