Why are there less servers recently?

I got my problem fixed. Now there are like 30 or so servers that appear. Am I missing an update?

I have ranked, no password, Same version only, and populated checked as well as large, medium, and small maps.

I don't think I have 1.21 yet. I am installing it now. I forgot to reinstall it I think

That would do it. I get anywhere from 700-1300 servers depending on the day with just 'same version', 'populated', med & large maps (and there are very few unranked servers in the list). BTW, 'no password' is redundant with the 'ranked' filter since all ranked servers must have no password.

you can password a ranked server but the moment you do it becomes unranked

I believe they made that rule because a passworded ranked server makes it too easy to statpad.

That's not the point. Sure, there may be valid reasons for locking it but if you allow that you have no way to monitor what they're doing. If there are no non-padders joining the server and reporting them to EA (hopefully with screenshots) then it's tough to catch them unless they are really stupid. If you want to lock your server for a clan practice or match you're free to do it but you just don't get any official stats during that time. If passwording automatically unranks the server I would hope that removing it afterwords would let you be ranked again.

yes when you take off the password it becomes ranked again

I only search for "same mod" and "populated". Don't bother with the maps, as i'm not real particular about what map i play.
