i updated IE 6.0 to the beta version of IE 7.0 and i want to go back to 6.0 but when i download the file and click on it it says Later version of Internet explorer found on my computer and closes down. how do i go back to 6.0?

Look in Add/Remove Programs, make sure that Show Updates is checked.

i tried that and internet explorer isnt there. i also whent into add/remove windows programs and there was a list of things for me to check IE was there and i unchecked everything else and clicked next and it started to install Rio Music manager? ? ? ?

Sounds like you just uninstalled any and aal updates for IE. The only thing you needed to look for/delete through Add/Remove was the listing for IE7.

And if the uninstaller for IE7 has somehow been borked, unless someone else has a suggestion for how to remove it, the only way to get rid of it is to re-install Windows.

Here ya go!
To uninstall IE 7:
Start -> Control Panel -> Add remove programs
Check the box, show updates
Under Windows XP - Software Updates
Internet Explor 7 Beta 2 Preview
Click & remove

thx , but the thing is my pc is in french (ya it sucks) and i dont really understand french that well, but i can tel you wat i did
paneau de configuration-ajouter ou supprimer des programes-affichier les mis-a-jour - windows xp mise a jour les logicielles and when i click on that it doesnt do anything its just sits there with no writing or buttons around it?
