One more question.. Does anyone know if it is possible for EA or GameSpy or whoever to impliment this option if they wanted to? And has EA mentioned anywhere the possibility of allowing this at some point?

I don't think so. And I don't see why this shouldn't be possilbe. Cause, your profil ID is still the same, if you change your name. Maybe possible in the future :)

if i rember corectly i read some where in the tbf2 news that this was put to them in one of there suggestions in one of there patch's.
think the answer was some thing like "its not a list of are prioirtys at the moment"
dont qoute me on this but im sure it was some thing like that.
hope this as answered youre question.
but changin the name would be a good idea especially if like me you have two names in there but would only like to use one with out starting a new account.

Yes you can .. Edit it so many times as you want.

but if yoiu have (like me) something as [DEI] infront of your name, but included in your account name you cant change it.
So I cant make it from [DEI]Bart --> {Random}Bart BUT you can set xtra things infront of your name like from Bf2Addict --> {lol} Bf2Addict ( in my case {lol} [DEI]Bart)
