how to re-install punkbuster

every game i try to go in this morning kicks me for 0 minutes saying its a punkbuster authentication failure, try re-installing punkbuster if problem persists!

how do i do this, and has anyone else experienced this?

Go to www.evenbalance.com

Locate Battlefield 2, then use a program PBWEB.exe or whatever it is renamed now, to update it automatically.

the new updater doesn't work for me. whenever i use it, it still does not update all the necessary files. i ALWAYS use the old updater which has NEVER failed me - http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbweb.exe

just save it to your pb folder in bf2 and you're done!

Try the updater. It may not work for some but it does work for most. Use this link and follow the directions on the page.

Try that. Do not use the manual method. And remember, after you have done that updfate successfully, go to copt the entire pb folder to a disc or something so that after re-installation of BF2 in the future, you don't need to do the update again, you just copy it back to the pb folder.
