    Patch 1.2 will not work. PLEASE HELP.

    I just bought this game and I want to play online bad.
    I got the patch and when I execute it. It tell me that it cant find the Battlefield2 folder..Why is that.
    The error says " cannot locate folder Battlefield2(TM)".

    Can anyone help me out? I AM DESPERATE.

      Is your battlefield installed at it's default location?

      X:\Program Files\EA Game\Battlefield 2\

          The newest patch is 1.21 as well.

              Sorry, I meant the 1.21 patch and yes it is in the correct directory . Any Idea why it will not work?

                      How about uninstall it first and then install on a different directory such as C:\EA Game\Battlefield 2\

                          OMG so ****ed.
                          Now I get this error when I try to uninstall..
                          Error 5001.
                          Says It WONT WORK AND TO CLOSE RUNNING PROGRAMS AND TRY AGAIN..
                          There is nothing else running..
                          I am starting to think this game is just a P.O.S.
                          I have had it for a week and can't even play because of this crap.

                              Maybe a format and clean reinstall of Windows XP and BF2 would help?
