Re: How do I correct for targets more then 300m with the sniperrifle?
Ummm i think the best way to correct for targets at such a distance is to get closer, by 100m or more! theres little value in potshotting from such range, you have a better chance of success with a closer shot (and i do know what im talking about, i've more than 1650 sniping kills on my accounts)
Re: How do I correct for targets more then 300m with the sniperrifle?
Eh ... my default sniping distance is 250+ meters at present. I am practicing long/extreme hits on a target atm which by my own standard comes down to 400+. Furthest out shot I made up till now was 436 meters (1 shot/kill).

The M95 has additonal crosshairs listed as "6" and "8" which I took to be 600 and 800 meters respectively. I tested the theory by shooting at someone about 250 meters away.
If you put the centerline on the target and center it between the normal crosshair and the "6" crosshair, you should hit. For other distances just adjust the crosshairs so that they are at the appropriate fraction between the "0" and "6" lines.
The only real annoying thing is the thickness of the centerline.

hhmmm...all i can say is choose your sniper weopon wisely.
M95 is more powerful than the L96A1 but less accurate over long distances.
I prefer to use the M95 because theres a good chance of a kill with the first hit. Even a body hit, the player will be reduced to 2 bars of health. Anything but a headshot with the L96A1 and you won't kill with the first hit.
There is slight bullet drop with the M95, however I wouldn't really worry about it. It would only matter if your shooting at targets at very long distances, but then as it is the M95 is inacurate over extreme distance so correcting for the bullet drop isn't worthwhile.
