gamespy losing connection

I just built a new PC...I can start up the game, join a server, and play for about 5 minutes just fine. Then, the game just randomly kicks me off the server and I get an "error reading from gamespy server". This happens every time that I try to play the game. I know that my internet connection is fine, there just seems to be a problem with the game...any help? I have all of the latest drivers and motherboard bios. Here are my specs if it matters...

ECS K8M800 M2 mobo
Athlon 64 3000+ (754)
Radeon 9500- 64mb
350w Cooler Master PSU
Antec Super Lanboy case

that 'loosing connection with gamespy' usually happens when playing thru a wireless connection
