BF2 Obsession!

Literally, I am obsessed with BF2! I cannot get enough of it. From the main menu music, to the scream for a medic, I love everything about this game. Not to mention the big stats/awards bonus.

I find myself playing this game anywhere from 2 to 6 hours a day, depending on if I am working that day or not. It is as if I do nothing else with my freetime, but I am never bored!

BF2, I love you! (no I am not a sicko; I have just found THE game for me) Infact, sometimes I play BF2 when I should be doing homework or something else important. I love it enough to dedicate about 90% of my free time to it.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one. I thought it might have been an unhealthy obsession.. as long as I'm not the only one

By the way, I agree, BF2 is such an amazing game. It's by far the best shooter out right now.

I was actually going to post that, but I didn't want to come off looking like a complete wacko.

Literally, if I had a week off with nothing to do, I would spend about 95% of my time awake playing BF2. The other 5% would be spent doing what nature intended hehe (bathroom/shower/food). I don't know what it is, but I love playing this game more than I do spending time with my family. It is screwy, but I can't get enough of it.

I'm so glad that computer games in general, and BF2 in particular, didn't exist when I was in high school & college, or I'd never have graduated.

This stuff is WAY too much fun for the kind of low-discipline guy I was then, and it's borderline too much fun to resist now.

It is an awesomely fun thing. It has flaws, but major kudos to DICE. BF2 is the most fun I've had on a computer since they invented porn.

I was the same way a little while ago , but after you actually DO play it for 2-3 weeks straight (teachers strike up here in Vancouver,Canada; 3 weeks off! ) you do grow a bit tired of it. That is, until you find a fantastic group of people to play with, and it sucks you screaming back into its waiting arms :laugh:

Yeah kinda like me almost a year ago. Now BF2 is just the game I play and there's nothing to get excited about. Well, some matches I play are exciting.

I have kept it interesting by trying to find good squads to play with. Being in a good squad that all have microphones makes the game 1000x better.

Side note. I managed to get the Basic Armor Badge, Basic Ground Defense Badge, Basic Knife Badge, Distinguished Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon and 2 Silver Medals all in 1 day lmao. weeee

The worst thing is when you spot tower stacks or other features that are similar to the game on your daily travels, and immediately think 'SNIPER'! in your subconcious!
