ok this is my issue, i just did a fresh install of battlefield 2. i downloaded the newest patch and when i install it, it resests all of my settings, and it doesn't patch my game. i installed the game on a hard drive that is partitioned, i don't think it would matter, but who no's?

I have noticed that BF2 seems to not like being patched when it is not installed into the default location.
what is the full version number displayed after you log in?
It should be 1.1.2716-548.0 -

well i reinstalled bf2 and patching seemed to work, but i installed the wrong patch, but reguardless it patched, right now im patching again with the right one, hopfully everything is good.Comment
