Game blurring when shot.....

Hi guys.

I've just done a re-install and just installed the game again. I'm finding that when i get shot the screen blurs, i'll get a screen shot later, but has anyone heard of this before?

Tank shells/grenades/arty/bombs going off around you? If so, that'll do it...

Sorry - didn't explain that very well. I understand what your saying.

Lets say there was a player in front of me and i got shot. I then moved left and right with my mouse. The name would repeat across the screen. Does that make sense?

Yep... graphic card refreshing problem. Try upgrading your graphic card's driver.

I've attached some screen shots - I thought I had the latest ATI drivers - would you recomend non offical drivers like the omega drivers?

The thing is after about 30 mins it sorts itself out again

Yeah, but what ATI do you have there? Latest drivers won't help you with blurring 9600. If so, you may need the proper version of drivers that support your card best.

I want to say 6.13. Definately .13 at the end.

I'm at work and this is the hhome computer!

6.3 is the version i have!

Would earlier drivers work?

its the GFX card.try turning down the lighting settings.

i had probs with the 6.3 drivers so i went back to the oficcal 6.2 drivers. try that it might work. there is a sticky in the hardware forum with all the drivers. the 6.2's could fix this problem if not then it might be time for new video card.

i do not think that is artifacting or anything, not sure. but yeah, try either the newest drivers (if they arent the ones you are currently using) or try rolling back some.
