You might have too much ram. I know that board is capable of homding 4 GB. but try running 2 x 512MB sticks in dual channel. Don't tweak anything including the timings. It should work fine. I had a similar problem with 2 x 1gb sticks of OCZ Platinum.

Re: hitching, stutter, netlag, mouse pan poop

just got rid of the 7800gtx's in place of one 7900 from BFG....set mb to single card....

still stutters throughout the game when I'm mouse panning.....so that blows the video 512mb theory out of the water

I've got a replacement PSU: antec truepower 550 coming in the mail....

think I'll try replacing the ram with different stuff....I'm paying now with Corsair xms pro 3200 rt...the black heat sinks....4x512....ran mem test on them all night or to like 1500%

also i might try replacing the processor......

no one else has this problem? no one has fixed this problem?

is it the game and forced mouse acceleration?

is it because I'm playing on a 22'' viewsonic p220f monitor?

Are you using a CRT monitor or an LCD?

If you're getting the same problem with all those different hardware configs it may be software, have you tried doing a clean install and defragging a few times (assuming there aren't any other apps running in the background - it sounds like some other app is using a lot of RAM)
