doesnt that suck, all he needs are 24 kills in armor, then he has to spend 82 hour in an airplane (with 24 kills)....not so easy anymore since 1.2

On wake playing as the chinese, a quick round where I hold back the US team from taking bases completely, I get about 50-0 kills

On a round playing as the PLA where the americans take flags making the round last longer, I get 80+ kills

this isn't the point now, this is a BF2 forum , where you talk about BF2 things , ranks are also a part of BF2 , so we post stuff here about that to , don't you understand that ?

wow rombaft, this problem affects like 15 people.... really, who cares.

none of us normal, casual battlefield players are ever going to have 2000 hours, and 99 percent wont make it to 2nd lt, so we really could care less.

by the time anybody who plays less than 7 hours a day gets to that rank, theyll have fixed the problem.

ive played 35 minutes a day since it came out, and am gunnery sergeant. my friend plays 2 hours a day average and is 55 000 points, almost 2nd lt.

i dont even want to think about how many hours a day the higher ranking people play..... and then spend the rest on totalbf2 apparently.

yeah blazin uk is just a karkand medic all day, but he is a lot better than TA firestorm. just the fact that TA is a sniper and has like twice the time in bf2 that blazin does.

what this means is , whenever someone starts a thread about something doesn't even mather what, some guy comes in and says , : guys, it's just a game, guys we play for fun, ..... , yes offcourse , but on a BF2 forum you talk about all aspects of the game , not just how much you like or dislike it , so I start a thread about the ranks , and again some idiot : we play for fun .... , we already knew this and this isn't a topic about we playing for fun , it's a topic about something else called ranks wich is also a aspect of BF2 .

If we all think like that guy, then we can give one answer to everybody's question : we play for fun ...
and actualy we don't need a forum ether, because every topic would start with : I play for fun ....

get it now ?


And why do I care about things like that, well, two reason , or

- the ranks are bugged , wich is so retarded because it isn't so hard to code and DICE can't even succeed in that .

OR

- it isn't bugged and you do need brigadier general first, meaning youi would need everything expert , meaning nowbody gets this unless some statpadders, meaning DICE doesn't understand the game they made , meaning we will never get a patch with the tweaks the comunity needs, this because they don't get the BF2 players/gameplay and will so never be able to balance things out .

Understand now what I mean ? why I post this here ? why answers like : we play for fun ... are stupid ?

not really - my post had a point. my point was that the right to talk about ranks in turn gurantees the right to talk about fun.

your post (before you edited it) was basically "nobody cares".

As for rombaft, I think you're taking his post a bit too seriously. It's not a general "its a game just chill out" post. He seems a bit frustrated that so much emphasis is on ranks and badges that you have folks runnin around with knives in their hands instead of helping team-mates.

I think you took it a bit out of context IMO (i guess if i say "i think..." then that would insinuate IMO anyways. Probably would've been easier to just erase IMO instead of typing all this crap)

who said anything about it being hard (I have my 50+ kill rounds now too)....I said not so easy, there is a difference....

and 99.99 percent of people are not even going to be close to that rank before 1.3 is out anyway.

the thing im saying is that stuff like the claymore problem ruins the game, whereas obviously a mixup in high ranks doesnt.

basically, i want to be sure that DICE knows the claymore is a major issue and fixes it ASAP.

if people like me werent here, then the claymore dispensing snipers would outnumber us and DICE probably wouldnt know there was a problem.

the hardest thing about getting high kill scores in BF2 is how damn short all the games are.

I agree with the claymore thing, But lucky as I am, the server I play most on has FF for claymores ON , wich means you don't find any claymores , wich is very good for gameplay .

But I don't think DICE will get the claymore problem , this because they don't understand the gameplay/players of there own game

I think the saddest thing is that guys has played almost 100 days----and the game has been out for roughly 290 days-very weird existence if yo aks me
