Euro Forces: installation problem!!

    Euro Forces: installation problem!!

    " Battlefield 2: Euro Forces Booster Pack requires version 1.2 or later"

    thats the message i get when i try to install it. However Pacht 1.21 is already installed. Anyone know how to solve this?

      did that already, no success. Maybe there is a registry entry missing?

      here that i found in registry:

      EA GAMES ->
      Battlefield 2 ->
      InstallDir -> D:\Programs\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
      LANGUAGE English
      Locale Uk
      Version 1.12

      (-> i manually adjust 1.12 into 1.21, but that doenst help.)

      are the registry entries ok?

        I do not have my gaming pc with me now because i'm at work, but i will look in to it later if you stil have the problem

          I am also getting this problem. It doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever.

            Yeah, got the very same problem.
            Due to it, I uninstalled and reinstalled BF2, patched it - again - with 1.21, apparently succesfully.
            Tried to start the game. After a black screen, it ctd'ed. Beautiful - just as it did the first time around after patching with 1.21.

            So I tried to install euroforce on top of it. Could not, because I was supposed to have version 1.21.

            But I HAD v1.21.

            Now I tried to install 121-1.22 - same message. I needed 1.21

            Somehow I believe the installer checks something in the game to make sure it's the proper version, and here it fails. This is ridiculous. Waste of time.

            But my life is too short sit and sneer at my desktop. So I'm outta here for now. Sun is shining. Bye!

              time and time again it's clear that the people who develop these basic customer applications for EA are simply the most incompetent programmers in the software industry.

              the fact that it keeps happening also implicates their management and quality controls.
