Lol, Ive always wanted to see what a FPS version of the civil war would be like bayonettign everyone and having to reload your musket. Or somethjing from the WWI era. However Id still stick with BF2. As for the grenade launchers, yes its good to have to add a variety of weapons.

I love the assualt kit, but thats cause I use the rifle grenade as I am supposed to use them..

(for example, I shoot it in a building, it bounces off the cieling and down in the PKM gunners head.)

BTW the rifles in WWI were NOT muskets, many of them were used again in WWII, and some is still used. For example the springfield 1903..

there meant for taking out jeeps but often it will take 2 hits to kill the jeep. By then it could be too late and the squad has jumped out of the jeep

Because its in the game. Stop bitching.

Dude, I've always dreamed of like, BF1776 or like, BF79AD the first person soldier! Cut and slash just as the Romans did! But yea, the GL is a great tool when used properly and adds a new dimension to grenades.

The answer is.......we don't need the GL anymore, due to EA/Dice nerfing the crap out of it. Assault is now a useless kit. Judging by the pre & post patch hype, this should make 99% of BF2 players happy. And you're wrong about the range, you can launch a M203 grenade alot further than throwing a hand grenade.

Agreed. Judging by the videos I have seen an M203 doesn't really "drop" as much as BF2 would like you to belevie.

It flys pretty straight; in an very wide arc.

...then again nothing presented in this game is supposed to mimic reality so that comparison of mine means jack diddly.
