Loading stopping @ 62%

I thought id try some BF2 today, so I re-installed and I am having issues loading into servers.. everytime the load bar stops at 62% and just sits there..

any ideas?

mine does that too, but a few seconds later it finishes loading... I'm usually first or second on the server.

Depending on how high you adjust your video graphics in the options, the slower it will take. At 62% it loads the textures which can be awhile if you have textures set as high.

If the game is optimizing your shaders and your graphics are on high then it may take a long time. Mine took about 2 minutes + the first time I did it.

The game map loading will stay at 61-62% for like 2-5 minutes when it is optimizing shader. Just have some patience.
