Unlocking weapons?

My brother is the same rank as me, rank 3 about 200 to rank 4, and has unlocked 4 weapons, i on the other hand have unlocked only 2, i thought that u get an unlock each rank. Any help? Does it have to do the only class i ever play is support? THanks

You get twice as many unlocks if you buy (or log into a computer that has) BF2: Special Forces expansion pack.

That is probably what happened; no other explanation.

EA trys to rip u off any chance possible, no unlocks for EF makes stupid ppl like myself buying SF along w/ vBF2
