I'm going crazy from this... I know it happens sometimes, you see negative points and you have no idea when it happened. But the last bunch of games it's been happening over and over, when I KNOW that I haven't been TKing. Right at the end of the last game I got a kill. The guy had a red tag and was coming from the direction of an enemy flag, and it said "You killed bla bla bla", nothing about a teamkill. Then the game ends and I'm 4 points short after the last kill! And I mean every time I've been seeing negative team points lately, I could swear there's nothing coming up telling me I've been TKing (and I could swear that I HAVEN'T been doing it) Bahhhhh it's driving me insane!

Red name tag bug, ur friendlies appear in red names, and if you kill them you get a tk. Check the uniform to make certain.Comment

I had it happen to me in the EF "quarry" map the other night. First time on the map, jump in as the gunner of a tank, just to get an idea of where everything is. Fire off a couple of rounds into the air to test my new headphones, hit nothing.

Yeah, I have had this too...not specifically "recently" but it has happened in the last few weeks. I too have killed no one where a TK shows up, then I check scores to see me with -7??...LOL...I usually laugh and just get on with it, coz no matter what, I can't get the points back.Comment

Yeah it's true, no point in getting too pizzed about it since there's nothing you can do. Just suck it up. But damn it makes me sooooo damn mad I could just.... oh yeah, I'm calm.

Maybe its an undiscovered bug? I get them too. Ill be running along, check my score +2 team points. I get killed and check my score -4 ? What happened? I got ran over by a humvee, that was all I knew about. It must be a bug. . . . . . .RedComment

you could just be getting negetives from team damage. from nades being throwin into the fray....bailing from a transport chopper and it landing on ppl.Comment

I think switching teams does this... I think the negative points designed to discourage players to switch teams, not a bug. I find that it only happens when I manually switch teams, I don't think it happens when the server auto switches me. It happens to me a lot on Karkand when I try to get to the USMC, knowing that they almost have a guaranteed win. Maybe the server auto-switched you when you died, and gave you a negative score. Unless you didnt switch teams...??? Then I dont know. Or its probably a bug in the auto-switch system and thought you manually switched teams when you really didn't. But I've never heard of such a bug.Comment

yeah this happened to me once last week , i was in a chopper , and i was absolutely sure that i didn't tk anyone . All of the sudden i get the message : you've been punished for a teamkill. So i kept asking the guy why he punished me but i got no response , while normally they react within the second with a response like : you N00b , you tk'ed me .
This really needs to be fixedComment

Seen this "bug" for months I think I've had it since 1.03 at least.
Yesterday I got kicked from a server I usually play on after only 1 teamkill that was punished. I had gotten no other teamdamage, team vehicle damage or any other teamkill during the time I played on the server.Comment
