when I try to install it, it says something about not being able to find the battlefield 2 install folder. it's where it should be, C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2.

Is there a slash after Battlefield 2? If so that's your problem. I dunno, apparently that's a common one. I think that the stupid piece of **** thing failing for unknown reasons is a bigger one, but not EA.

So, I have this same problem. If there is a \ after then what are you supposed to do to fix it so you can get the patch to work?
