This is primarily for chopper ho's. If you ever played quake 2 you'll know that a quad timer is essential for being a quad-whore. We can apply the same concept to BF2. The cobra respawns in just about 30 seconds, so I put my 30 sec quad timer on my ipod and I can keep that bird on lockdown. The timer allows you to fire a missile through fog and still hit the guy 100%. That way he can't hear your chopper and think its safe :laugh: :laugh:.

Q2 had something called Quad damage. It multiplied all your damage by 4 times (duh). On Q2 Multiplayer maps it was essential you got the Quad damage. So some players downloaded a programme which informed you when the 30 second spawn time was up.
You can use this in BF2 as well.Comment

Next time you're in the middle of a round, try counting to 30 with any kind
of accuracy. Flying while using flares while looking out for enemy rotary wings and fast movers while shooting up tanks? Most people can only process so much with any kind of precision. A timer just helps delegate one
menial task to something else.Comment

I don't see how it works, the choppers spawn time is different on every map. On top of that only one spawns at a time from a single spawn point.
For example operation cleansweep the mec chopper is under 15 seconds as it spawns before you can, wake island it takes almost 2 minutes for the chinese chopper to spawn.Comment

q2?? how bout q3!! there was an in game timer that you could command to your viewscreen. the good players learned to time all the powerups. Im sure on every map in bf2 the pawns are different, its just a matter of knowing when to be where. thx for the tip actually. or you can just wait on the carrier ike the fools i see and crash into the water or the conning tower in takeoff.
