Does a revive point count as a healing point?

Say if you needed 10 heal points and you revived 10 people would you get the badge?

No, a heal point is healing a wounder player with a medic pack.
A revive point is reviving players, two separate things.

That is correct. You can get heal pts by placing your first aid on the ground, which is a faster heal for teammates.

And a heal point doesn't occur everytime someone picks up a medkit, or takes some health off yours, it's every 100%.

Now I now that I can't just go around reviving people for the veteran heal badge.

Yep, throw them packs! If you get good at it, you can throw them in such a way that they automatically grab them up, without having to look around for it.

It helps to just drop a few packs at control points as you pass through. Tons of times I've been defending a point and wishing there were a couple health bags to sew up the gaping wounds in my face/buttocks.

i believe it's 2 points for a revive and 1 point per full heal.
