Dropped stats

I was playing monday before the scheduled maintenance and got a ribbon and silver medal. As the server was switching maps the scheduled maintenance kicked me off, no probs - but on Tuesday the stats from that server including ribbon and medal did not show up. They still havnt shown up leading me to believe they were dropped.

Does this happen often before the maintenance window?

sometimes it can take a couple of days to rank increase
keep waiting and if not sh*t happens i guess

IT's quite possible that you really did loose those awards.

When the server is changing maps, thats when it also sends the stat info up to EA's stats servers. If they're down, there's no place for the info to go.

Yeah, sucks, but it gives you another chance to kick some tail and get those awards again.

most likely not, check on websites like www.bf2s.com andc, they update slow as hell
