I really dont know. I prolly would knowing how stupid i can be when it comes to buggy games like bf2. You cant resist the features of bf2. The stat whoring and awards are like icing on the cake. Once you try, it becomes irresistable.

People tend to forget how good we've really got it with this title. Patch support exists and they keep us updated as to what's going on. They're willing to adress game play issues and not just bugs. They've got an active interest in the community and often send their guys out to interact with the fan base.

Sure, it ain't perfect, but compaired to many other titles out there, we've got a sweet ride goin on.

couldn't agree with you more, I love BF2 and I have played almost every 1st person shooter since 1997. Bugs aside, this game is always fun. If you have a bad experience on one server you can just leave and find another one since there is always at least 600 hundred of them running. I always look forward to playing and the incorporating of stats is sweet. Most games you just gain reputation for being good/bad player in the community, with BF2 you can just check stats on launch and see where you fall.

It's a love/hate relationship, but yes I would do it all over again :)

Don't you really mean that they address game play issues *instead* of bugs

With the bugs, supposed balance issues and moaning forums bretheren I'd buy it again in a second. Not perfect, but damn addictive. Same with these forum. I can't stay away...

I love this game. I think most people that play it do.

Its why people get so ****ed off at EA when it gets all buggy.

People "know" what this game "could" be like, thats where the frustration comes from.

Exactly. It's a great game, but it could be even better.

I really dont know, since they have nutered (cut the b4lls off) the assualt class. If you dont know what I mean try being assault next game you play. I will bet that you cant get more than 3 or 4 kills before you die, and thats if you are lucky.
Right, you think Im wrong, when was the last time you killed an assault troop on the other team? Thats because everyone knows that the assault kit sux. Wait, doesnt the G3 own? I bet you could get 3 times as many kills using the PKM!
Im finally learning how to play again since the last patch, if they do like they have in the past, they will change it (BF2) again soon. Maybe they should change the name of the Assualt class to "easy kill" and just put a bulls eye on them. I tried using the granade launcher today, just to mix things up, and managed to shoot through a wall, under the ground, and get killed 5 or 6 times after fireing and before my granade exploded. No other weapon in the game can be fired before the enemy shoots at you (at about 25 meters) and the enemy can kill you and side step the explosion while you die. I discovered today the only way to kill someone with the Granade launcher is to come up on thier blind side. Maybe you didnt like the granade launcher but it shouldnt be like this. I shot a granade at a sniper, on a roof, today and saw that the granade was on target only to make a weird 45 degree turn and land harmlessly in the street. D4mn EA give me back my assault kit.
I would have to say, even though Im not real happy with the last patch, this is still the best game going today. Maybe some day they will get more of the bugs fixed, I hope. . . . . . . .Red

Honestly at the time I bought it it was great no one was dolphin diving or base raping....then people began to figure out ways to exploit the game and ever since its just gone downhill to the point were now I haven't played the game in almost 2 months.

To answer the poll I would not purchase it again knowing what it has turned into.
