any mods for bf2 comparable to DC or FH?

I'm relatively new to BF2, are there any good mods for it as good as DC or FH?

FH2 looks sweet, as does POE2. I don't think any full mods are done yet.

Nations at war is maybe the one who has modded most. You can check them out.

Correct, BF2 was made by those that brought you DC though, DCON is as close as you will get to DC without having to use the BF42 engine.

US-Intervention is another gulf war mod that seems to be making great progress

Dcon seems to be a carbon copy of DC, which is something I'm not fond of. But time will tell.

Great mod. Still working out some bugs, but a great mod no the less. =CDU= is running a U.S. server and there are about 20 others running fulltime servers around the world. Great new maps and a couple of DC type maps like Gazala.

The few people from Trauma that worked on this game, had barely little input or impact on what this game turned out to be. That has been mentioned in the original DC forums by someone from the DC team already.

I'm personally waiting for PoE, DCon and FH.

trauma (the folks behind DC) did the commander mode and the defibulator. All the other things they did were taken out of the game before it was released (among the slew of neat features removed was fast-ropes from helis)

                        thats about it.

ah, you must be the good old troybob of the DC forums. i was pretty sure of that after reading a few of your posts, now i just know for sure.

I've got a pretty good idea of how that could be somewhat modded into old DC (commander mode), but not many people really play that anymore

Something I'm afraid of also. I am/was hoping they would take a step forward and put this games engine to the paces, it has alot of potential that just isn't being used by this BF2.

And your right, USI is looking interesting, I forgot about that one.

but good to see someone here that makes sense more often than not :)
