The F-35 is a remarkable piece of machinery.

heh...LOMAC vet here. LOMAC is truly a sim that takes quite a while to fully master for any newb. If you're coming strait out of BF2 flying and expecting to understand all the functions and systems of each aircraft, you have quite awhiles to go.

FYI, in the demo, you're flying against a Mirage 2000, not a J-10. The Mirage IS the
'J-10" of LOMAC when it comes to dogfighting.

I dont think there is such a hack for BF2. Sorry, He's probably just better than you.

I don't know about "turn radius" hack, but there definetly are several more or less advanced hacks for visibility and fog. I'd love to have greater draw distance too, but unfortunately it requires a monster to run the game smoothly.

Yesterday I was in a turning circle with a mig, I watched him steadily pull away and right behind me (with burners on) this is NOT normal..the migs turning rate cant beat the F35's by THAT much, I would have seen it before in countless hours of air combat. I hav'nt..any one else encounter this?
you are 100% correct in your suspicion
while I am maybe better than average in this game flying
I am not anyhere near the top with some of these players
but as you have all read in these forums by now,
not only was I a fighter piliot in real life
(which is often a handicap in game flying)
I was an air-combar instructor and test pilot as well
as such, have learned attention to detail and analysis quite well
by now. my 'sense' of turn rates of these vehilces is quite clear
when I see 2 seat bombers out 'rate- turning a fighter'
well - I KNOW something is up
I have no idea how they do it (ie code wise)
but some of these guys turn at more than twice the rate as normal

I often fly as 2nd seat in bomber
and look aft when tone hits
and sometimes even being chased by our own clan guys
vet and expert jet - so they know how to turn
and then these guys just 'out pull'
                well = total BS
the OP said a mig out pulled his f35
                sure - by a little
nothing out pullls a well flown J10
                well - nothing legal
if not a hack - then some Uber joystick setting
and yes - code is independant of joystick
but somehow it is STILL done
for those that think me paranoid - well
either you have not seen it
or do not have the epxericence to recognize it
but I have seen it often enough to know it is not a fluke
                (ps)
and when i do see it
I adjust my flight tactics siginificantly
ie do not simply chase in circle, but go completely out of phase and still win
ie I am not just whining about sometimes losing
usualy these types of pilots have no other skill besides a better turn rate

MY! I had that. I also flew A-10 a lot on my Amiga... Dem were the days... (Nah the graphics sucked, it did look nice at the time)

On subject... I think a lot has to do with timeing. BF2 has a lot to do with that. Who does what first and when. Also, the servers ping to YOU. YOU might be doing something, but some guy clear across the globe has already told the server he is doing something else. This sometimes leads to some crazyness. Lagarific.

I've never played against anyone in a Jet that I thought had hacked the turning rate. That would need to be server side surely?

If I need to turn sharp I'd AB / Turn and rudder.

AB and rudder - but of course
                      and if server side?
hmm - not sure - but as I see it on our server
and I know it is PURE
                      must be something

If you really flew fighter planes with the Air Force, you would have had to have done mandatory english classes and other boring crap before you even got anywhere near a plane. I think you are a fibber. Back on topic, I've seen bombers that can out turn F35's. I don't care how good of a pilot you are, but that is just the biggest crock of bull ever in any game. Brings me back to the days of CS 1.1-1.3 where cheaters were very blatant.

That's what I was thinking, if it wasn't a hack, maybe he just really slowed down as he pulled the turn.

bombers i.e. su34 can out turn the f35 if the f35 pilot is not controlling his speed/throttle

Also, do not follow your target implicitly. Use "Lead pursuit" instead of trying to keep your sights right on him during a chase. To do this, point your nose a little ahead of his position while he is turning or running away. Lead pursuit allows you to catch up in distance, and in turns, you can change your heading slightly faster than him (unless he expects this).
