Server Specs Help

What do you think would be a good enough specs for a medium map size server with 24 slots And as far as connections go I only have a residential DSL hook-up... Is it even worth it? :hmm:

prob not woth it as it will be unranked unless you want to run custom maps it not worth the hassle

online multiplayer games need around 4-5KBps of bandwidth up and down per person. This is an estimate from a few years back that I read, and today it might even be higher.

Your bottleneck will be your upload speed.

If for instance you have 1.5Mbps download and 384Kbps upload your KBps is 40KB upload. That means you can host a nice 8, possibly 10 man server. Even then is might be laggy.
