Help i can't seem to be able to get it. Several times i have gotten over 22 kills, and several times also been on the armor over 20 min. I have done it in both APC and Tank. What am i missing????

Actually I'm having exact same issue, I've killed alot more then 22 and have been in a tank for definetely longer then 20 minutes and nothing, wtf is going on ?

You need to have 22 kills and be in an amoured vehicle for 20mins in the same round.

huh yeah. i know, i have. I know they dont mean 20 minutes non stop, that's not possible. Well it is, but is hard. But on and off i know i gotten over 20 minutes and over 22 kills.

sometimes it seems to take a little longer than 20 min. just keep playing :)

No **** Sherlock, I've had about 37 kills with a tank in a round and I was in it for about 28 minutes.

Please keep in mind this is EA and DICE we are talking about......as buggy as this game is you have got to expect these kind of things, it's most likely that the server you were on wasn't getting picked up as a ranked box for some reason (once again this doesn't have to make sense it is EA and DICE). Just keep at it, and if you have another game like that one you will get it....eventually. Like the others said, just make sure it is in-fact a ranked server, and you are in the tank a total of 20min in one round, and kill, kill, kill.

I think it’s funny that your sig states stay away from 2142…..why would you be so adamant about it, I personally can’t wait to move on from this buggy monstrosity…..I love the game and the concept, I just hate their ineptitude at coding it (maybe they will finally get it right for once on the next one, gawd knows they aren’t going to support this game any more)

I don't think any of the Special Forces ribbons work. For the armies you have to play each for 5 hours and I have, yet I've not received them yet.

They do work, even I have the SAS ribbon (and it is 5 hours with that army, but 50 hours total in theater, and you must play each map)

seriously... once I get all my service ribbons.... and my expert grapple... I'm saying goodbye to Special Force... only another 60 hours to go playing maps like Iron Gator for half of it... ugh.

It was the same for heli ribbon and i got that...20mins is a long time, some rounds last less than that.

it's the crew service ribbon that is killing me.....but at this point I think I can live without it

hey otor, 2142 uses the BF2 engine, so it will be buggy like BF2.

I also have that one, I'm 3 hours away from the Spetsnaz ribbon and 7 hours from the Chechen rebels ribbon.

Good luck with the Expert Grapple, not only do you need to deploy the hook 6500 times, but the badge doesn't even work - the highest you'll get is Basic (unless DICE fixes the zip/grapple/tactical support badges)
