    The pilots worst enemy.

    Wireless connection!

I'm not joking, 90% of all my airplane deaths are when I ram the ground head on, in other words I'm doing a dive when I get connection problems, I get these wonderfull conn probs every 2 minutes and they last about 5 seconds each, allowing me to die in many many different situations .

Is there any god damn way to lower the connetion problems in BF2?

This post makes no sense. You are asking a question that you answered 2 sentences earlier.

I have wireless... Linksys. It works great. Don't know what you all are complaining about I have a ping of 8 to 40 on East coast servers and I love to fly.

My ping is always low, but then suddently it goes 999, then back to 80 again...it's probably packet loss, I dunno, maybe I'm just looking for someone to feel sorry for me :p.

I'm going to start using a damn cable when playing, no matter how many familiy members trip over it...

Wireless is good if you have a lappy that can play bf2 and your by a bar or something and theres a public network

Im getting 'there is a problem with your connection' more and more, and I gotta say the same problem as you except I don't have wireless.

I have to say that I could live with it before, but it's going very increasing now.

dis-able ingame VOIP. this cured my connection problems. i also have wireless and everytime i loose connection now, the server is empty afterwards so i know it crashed.

Wireless connections are still in thier infancy stages as far as development...

The technology is only 1-2 years old at best

Its just not reliable enough for gaming yet I, I used to have those same problems as you plus my average ping in uk was 60+ on wireless.

Remember that wireless in only a half duplex connection and ethernet cable is full duplex

This may be why my ping on ethernet averages about 25 compared to 60 on wireless

I know its a pain but seriously .....Run a cable and all your problems are solved

Plus they test those wirless routers in Labs where the simulated houses are made of plasterboard and wood only

I have died far more times to my wireless hiccups striking a tree or rock in a DPV or FAV than in a plane, not to mention the tk's for the guys who may be riding shotgun and the occasional poor sap walking alongside the road when I lose control of my buggy... such is life.

All-time personal favorite way to die in this manner is to hiccup as I am driving on to a bridge and roll off the side or crash into the carrier/airfield as I am trying to rearm my jet.
