Question before i buy SF.

First off, yes...i do want to buy SF, not EF or AF(when it comes out, although i probably will)

I was wondering if since i have the 1.21 patch, that when i install SF...will it automatically run like 1.21 or will i have to delete the patch and re-install it or something?

After you install SF you will need to re-install the latest BF2 patch which is 1.21.

when you install SF, you will have to re-install 1.21 patch because the SF install is only version 1.2

so when i play SF it will play like 1.2 but when i play Vanilla BF2 it will be 1.21?

Installing SF will revert you to 1.1, because that is the version built into SF. So, at the minimum, you need to reinstall the full 1.21 patch (edit) AFTER you install SF.

OR--if you've already downloaded the full 1.2 patch, then just reinstall that (this will save you having to download a big file), and then install the small 1.21 "hotfix".

BUT--to make sure everything is running up to the full potential, I'd recommend you TOTALLY UNINSTALL BF2, defrag your HD, reinstall vBF2, install SF, and then apply the full 1.21 patch.

Hope you feel supported.

edit: oh, and re your post above ^, no BOTH SF and vanilla BF2 need to be (and will be after you patch) 1.21.
