  • Land vehicle controls "boost" option

Under the land vechile options there is a key for "boost". Does anyone know what this key is for? I have it set for right shift since I use the arrow keys but when I press it I dont go any faster or anything? Anyone help?

It's for making people think that land vehicles have a boost function.

boost would be awsome on armor jeeps and boats, they would go full speed normally and slow speed with the boost, like a walk key. also jets and maybe helis need a throttle.

They do... its called the up and down keys.

And jets already have a boost with the left shift.

yes, you can tap forward or stop and go, but it would be better if you could just move slowly with a walk modifier, stop and go messes up aim. and tapping go is putting effort where effort shouldnt be needed.

i didnt say anything about jet boost, i said throttle.

pretty sure the open/close hatch thing is something that is from bf1942
they had those boats that had a front door that needed to be opened by the driver to let the passengers out
guess they kept it for later use with new boats possibley?
