Easy Question...

Ive recently come back to BF2 from a few months break and was greeted with the new patch. Ive noticed amongst these forums saying theyve unlocked specific weapons such as the L85A1 after the patch as so the accuracy changes only apply to those people who unlocked after the patch, not prior.

Can somebody confirm that these weapon amendments apply to all people or to those who only unlocked it post-1.2

If thats the case, its seems very unfair of EA to implement better changes to those unlocking weapons later. Shouldnt they be all the same?

It's hard to search for because personally I've never heard of it until now.

Could you show me the threads that state this as it seems to be a pile of crap IMHO.

The game motor isn't going to check the date you unlock a weapon to then decide it's characteristics.

I thought it was a crock to be honest, seems very unusual. I cant think of any threads off hand as these points have all be mentioned in fairly unrelated posts.

The comments I did read just sounded very specific when they were mentioning things like "I unlocked my L85A1 after the patch" as so it did actually differ to the pre-1.2

I think the accuracty applies to everyone.

Logic leads me to think that everybody plays using the same settings, ie accuracy, clip size, fire rate, etc regardless of unlock date

As far as I know the accuracy changes apply to everyone. From the threads I've read people have been commenting on changes in accuracy - which they wouldn't be able to do if it only applied to ones being unlocked after the patch.

Yeah, it should. The PKM accuracy applied to everyone.
