The MODS will be come'n around then & it'll be time to move on because the MOD content will blow all their stuff away & it'll be free.

Think about it, they get there money by building games then us buying them.

BF2 it self was a hit, they made a ton of money.
So there expanding on what they built.
They owe us nothing.......

They built a game (vanilla) we paid are money for it, end of deal.

They didnt build a perfect game, but who has...every game I play theres always complaints..this page looks nothing diffrent of a Funcom, Blizzard, etc.. page of complaints that "they havent done enough"..
They sold cheap expansions of ranked maps...in sellign there mods they sold us the rights to go into the "Oficial Ranking" system.
We bought that too...

They have given us patches.
Didnt make the game perfect like so much of us expect we get out of handing them 50-80 bucks...
We keep playing..

Ill keep playing Bf2, Ill buy expansions..but in no way do I think I cant buy 2142...
Im a gamer, I buy games and play. Should I adopt this mentality that I deserve perfection for a combined purchase of under 100 bucks that I enjoy..
To many games out there to whine about a game or what a developer owes you..

If you could sue anyone for a "sucky" game, many companies would be bankrupt.

Besides, "sucky" can be easily disputed since many people enjoy the game immensely.

Jesus, "spending a ton of money"? even if you bought SF and EF plus vanilla that is only 90 bucks......wait till you kids have to buy a car some day, then it has to go into the shop for repairs cause somehow you didnt get a "perfect" bug free car.....you need to put things in perspective, you paid $90 for a game that some of you guys played for over 1000 hours! Thats 0.09 cents an hour, what else can you do for nine cents an hour? go to a movie?, theme park? Putt-Putt?, some people pay monthly for MMO's you know....

Who says BF2 is going to be abandoned? I hope they open it up ranked servers a bit so we cna add a few maps. Besides - not everyone likes the mech schit .
