I got some great funny pics from this thread for amusement. Funny how these kind of threads ALWAYS provide stuff like that.
On a more on topic note. Played with girl-gamers, loved the company. Am/was in a clan with girl gamers. They provide a strange variety to the male environment and cheer the place up. They are excellent for their company, even just by being here. But I also agree that this topic title is just plain wrong.

the whole point girls don't post in a thread like this is because this is a degradation to their personal diginity. this is not a hot or not forum and a chick would wish to be treated on her gaming ability and her gaming ability alone.

You're not a hero. You're a snipe with nothing but a bunch of 'I've been there' tags.

Yes, this is a flame and a personal attack. Ban me if you desire, but to standy-by as someone calls themselves a war hero is just not right. I'm not bashing him or his record or his actions in the military... but to claim hero status is wrong. Period.

(For those that don't know some of these 'gimme' ribbons that this ship engineer has received:

Reading from top left to bottom right:

Unit Commendation - His ship did something/somewhere
E Ribbon - His ship was really clean and none of their junk was broken (Usually given after Ref/Tra)
Good Conduct - He didn't contract VD
National Defense - He served during war... not in war, just during war. Kids in Boot Camp get this one.
SW Asia Service - he spent at least one day on a ship that was doing something/somewhere
Sea Service - he spent one year underway

See I got my kids thinkin I'm a hero. If I tell them all I did was float around in circles in the Persian Gulf during the 1st gulf war that won't make for good war stories. I have to spice it up somehow.
