    Need a good joystick

    Hi guys

I am advancing towards Master Gunnery Sargeant, but I am missing the
aviator badge. My total time in a plane is 1 minute and 20 seconds after
1/2 year of playing BF2 (!!!). So I thought I should give flying a chance...

Anyway, can anybody recommend me a good joystick, that works
smooth with BF2 and is easy to install?!

    Thanks in advance!!

I have the Saitek Cyborg EVO. Great joystick, but I think after getting the Logitech G5 mouse I won't be using it much anymore. I dunno. Depends. But both are great for flying.

im in the same boat as u...i tried to get the aviator ribbon last night but failed =( it seems that ppl can turn tighter than me and get right behind me. Anyone recommend a good level to get this ribbon on? The 15 minute requirement seems a little high too.

I've had problems with the Logitech Extreme 3d Pro... I own two that lost calibration and won't center. I switched to a Saitek Evo and it's working great so far.

I prefer the smooth movements (physical) of the Logitech. The Saitek seems a little "loose". But at least the Saitek doesn't have me slowly circling to the right like the Logitechs do.

if i get a joystick is setting it up to use in game controls hard? i was looking over the in game controls and there seems to be only about 5 or so, just pitch up pitch down turn left and turn right along with flares. correct me if im wrong but buying a joystick doesnt seem like that would add a big advantage with only 5 customizable controls. or are there other controls that you gain with a joystick?

If you are just after flying time, you can always play on a map with the 2 seater jets and go as the gunner (Kubra dam, Operation Clean Sweep etc)

Best Joystick ever, and it's cheap!

Don't get the Freedom unless you like crappy wireless junk.
