Is there nothing that works in SF?

Ive had problems from day 1 which is 2 days ago... :P

On the frist day the p.o.s wouldnt launch so I downloaded the new patch for this thing which was 270mb, I had to uninstall SF and BF2 and reinstall it and apply all the patches. Now when I applied the BF2 SF 1.2 patch again and it came up saying I need to download the patch, so I ignored that again and applied the patch once again now BF2 or SF wont launch so I have to uninstall both again and reinstall them. No more Special Forces im just going to return the game and say my computer doesnt have a DVD rom and get store credit. Screw this crap.

You aint going to get store credit or money back, open software is not returnable and it is a fact, any moron can buy a game copy it and then go back and say "I dont have a DVD drive or whatever", dude they are not idiots and they have policies.

Ok do it like this. And follow my intructions exactly.

        1.Uninstall bf2 and SF completly
        2.Install bf2 like normal
        3.install the latest patch(1.21)
        4.install SF again.

That should work perfectly. If not its a hardware issue or something.

          Wrong.

          1.Uninstall bf2 and SF completly--Yes
          2.Install bf2 like normal--Yes
3.Install SF. SF "patches" to 1.11 DURING the install. You can't stop it, so install SF after vBF2
          4.Install full 1.2 patch
          5.Install 1.21 hotfix

That will work, provided your system req's are up to snuff.

lol yea i was coming back to edit. But all i was gonna edit was this

            1. uninstall bf2 and sf completly
            2. install bf2 like normal
            3.imstall bf2:sf like normal
            4.install v1.2 patch
            5.instal v1.21 incremental patch

Thats exactly how i did it when i installed it on my rents computer downstairs, and it works fine.
