Haven't you noticed that there are hardly and Australian casualties in the Iraq war? It's because they are better trained.
Australia trains it's troops 1 to 3, America 1 to 100 and Russia 1 to 1000. You can see that Australian troops are trained three at a time with one instructor. This allows the instructor to speak easily with the whole group and give more time for teaching new stuff than going over things again and again. They are also given the best weapon around, the F-88 Steyr. This rifle is way better than the American's M-16 and easier to use.
SO overall Australia have the best troops. If you think other wise, please tell me, I am open to opinions and dont take it as a fight.

My 1st reply to you was a joke but you are obviously far too serious a person to understand the concept of humor
Australian Army is the greatest and most aggressive in the world, our SASR special forces has surpassed the British and throughout our short history our courage, AGGRESSION and raw ability have prevailed through all our battles. You just ask any US soldier that has been on op with an Aussie and they will tell you how it really is. The Australian Army gets the job done, no nonsense, not relying on technology. Our soldiers grew up outside, in the bush, we were born soldiers and if there was ever a time someone tried to invade our land, it wouldn't just be our military at hand it would be our grandparents, mothers, fathers and children all stepping up to protect our freedom. It's a solid block that our country has been developed on, I respect the other army's especially the British, though based on "even" personnel numbers, our quality of soldier reigns above the rest. After all we have more to live for (beaches, women, and cold beer).
Scuddy, mate, please do us a favour and post a thread with it all in the off-topic forums. Im a (reserves) soldier myself, and several of my mates are also - we grew up in the harsh bush that is sydney and canberra. mate, really, loki was joking as was i. please... keep threads on topic in future champ
