I have all of the patches downloaded and installed for BF2. I was told that I need to run them for SF--which I just loaded. I've gotten the 1.12 patch to load, but everytime I try to load the 1.2 patch I get a message that I need to install the 1.12 patch first. What gives?

My guess is that you don't have the 1.12 patch installed, and you try to install the 1.12 -> 1.2 incremental patch. Download the full patch (300MB+) and give it another go.
(Btw 1.21 is the latest. Available both as incremental and full)

EDIT: If you installed the 1.12 patch prior to installing SF, you need to patch it again.

I just had the very same problem.. just got SF, installed on top of BF 1.21, then reapplied the full 1.12 patch, then tried to apply the incremental 1.12->1.2 patch but it said you haven't installed 1.12 (even after restarting the PC)!

Full 1.21 patch currently downloading so I'll try that instead.
