Special Forces is great!

After few months of playing SF, I must say it blows regular BF2 out of the water, not only I have not even touched BF2 since I got SF but Im having alot more fun.
The extra armies like the Spetnaz, Chechen Rebels, Insurgents and SAS are awesome, the maps are better then all of the maps on regular BF2 (aside form Karkand which is great), I must say its worth the 20 bucks I spent on it.
If anyone debating if they should get it, get it you wont be disappointed.
So whoever is complaing about how this game runs bad and blah blah blah ...... toss your e-machines out of the window and build yourself a better computer, cause on 1280x1024 everything on high, 2xaa my fps never drops below 40, and the game itself kicks major ass depsite small bugs.

Also, I noticed alot more teamwork in SF, like alot more filled squads, everyone running in groups ... something I RARELY saw in BF2.
I mean, every time I join a game there are already 6-8 squads ... when I create a squad it fills in seconds, just stuff that was rare in BF2.
And the smaller maps are a huge plus, more face to face combat, shoot-outs ... no jets that circle around and rape everything on the ground, the whole game just soo much better then BF2.

i got lied to on my machine. i was told emachines was the best. stupid false advratisers. but i did get a better one. now i just got the crap machines monitor. but sf crashes for after a few minets. you're lucky. glad you got good paformence.

which is why real gamers use cloners. I'd never buy a Dell, you couldn't pay me to.

That being said, SF runs fine on my machine at all med and some high settings.

I agree to that, SF is very much diffrent from normal BF2..it was worth my money too.

Does anyone like the new weaponry?
The only thing I like are teh flash and teh CS,
SCAR and teh lot gets binned and ye trusty old (used since before EA did its 1st patch) PKM cometh out!

I love SF too man, all I play maps soo awsome. I Ghost town and warlord are just as good or better than karkand. Surge is actually a fun map. Night maps suck though. Too hard to kill but I havent played night maps after the patch.

for crashing visit bf2lag.com there is a thing there that helps crashing in the problems sections, helps alot.

I like playing the daytime maps on SF, but the nighttime ones aren't much fun for me. I thought they would be when I was reading about SF before it came out, but I was wrong. It doesn't help that nightvision really kills the performance on my machine (AMD64 3000, GF6600, 1.5GB RAM) either... but I get poor performance in the palace on Warlord and still enjoy running around it. The action in that palace is unmatched on any other BF2 map, IMHO.

Yea, I must agree when the palace has 2 armies in it SAS and Insurgents all hell breaks loose, bodies everywhere, non-stop firefights ... just a massacre.
