pkm way too strong

I'm sure there have been tons of threads about this but here's another. The pkm weopon is way to powerful/accurate over long distances.

I am annoyed that as a sniper, support sometimes see you first and kill you from miles away. I find it very frustrating. It is unfair.

All ea need to do is change the pkm's accuracy to that of the mg36. That would make it fair.

One more PKm post and the next person should be banned. PKM is fine, deal with it and run around it, find ways to kill him before they kill you.

If you knew there were tons of other PKM rants...then besides not posting at all, you could have made sure you spelled your title right..and your main body. And had more of an argument besides, "Support sometimes see you first and kill you from miles away. I find it very frustrating. It is unfair."

PKM isn't unfair...its damage is still the same, its just more accurate when shooting one or two shots....try shooting it completely full-auto, it still sucks.

i've fired a pkm in real life

the thing is freakin heavy. yeah your first shot will be accurate - but to fire that second without repositioning would then be considered supporting fire (which is what i though support class did).

To fire one shot then immediately a second and have a nice grouping AT DISTANCE is very hard for a pkm.

Now the weight of the PKM means the recoil is very calm relative to what one might think. this makes it good at close-medium range. But that weight also brings along with it an inherit difficulty for repositioning/re-aiming. The bi-pod doesn't swivel - you have to pick the dam thing up for a second.

hypnosis, the PKM is not fine. The only legit reason for it killing people quicker than Iraq is that it fires 7.62 rounds as opposed to the 249's 5.56. What does the MG36 fire? 5.56 too? Regardless the weapon has an unreal accurate range and it kills people quicker than the browning 50 Cals mounted on the Humvees. But I suppose that is fine too right?

Point I am trying to make is that a support player should be owned by a sniper at long range 99 times out of 100. Support is there to provide suppressive fire and to re-supply the troops not to take out players at a distance.

I don't know the calibres of the support weopons, but i do know from experience it is almost impossible to do what the pkm does with the mg36.

The PKM is very powerfull, but actualy it's balanced.

Pro PKM
- acurate
- powerfull
- large clip

downside PKM
- standing up it isn't so acurate, assault weapons are more acurate standing up
- standing up the recoil is very big, assault rifles take you down when both are standing up
- acuracy when moving around is zero , this is where the assault rifle comes in, you can walk and strafe with those rifles and still shoot very acurate, while the PKM starts spraying everywhere but straight forward

You are obviously getting way closer then you should, you should fire with your sniper rifle from more of a distance, of course if you get in range of the PKM, and he sees you, most likely he will kill you first, as its your Bolt action\semi Auto rifle Vs his Automatic, if your far enough, he will have to use his PKM in a single fire style, making it harder to hit you.

If you are sure then why waste time and start another one? Everyone knows the PKM is stronger. That is because it was horrible before the patch.
What would make things really fair is for you to "adjust" to teh way the game is and deal with it. Instead of adding to the problem. Get used to the game.

When i went for my veteran support a while back, i had the worst KD in any round...the other day i tried PKM at Mastuur, i ended up with 23/3

IRL a belt fed 7.62 machine gun would do a lot more damage than it does in this game, as a matter of fact what you SHOULD be bitching about, is the fact that the other guns in the game are UNDERpowered.
