Full Graphics Or Not?

hey,

ive just got a new pc (specs in sig)...and i think the graphics arnt acctaully on full, my settings are all on full and my anastropic is on 16x and aa is on 2x in the game and 4x in nvidia panel.

but when you go close to texture they look shoddy....



im hopeing they dont look like that....

how do i get it to porperly optimise shaders ect again...?

also other things dont look like there on high graphics.....

anyone help?

Turn the AA of in the GFX card. leave it on in the game.

just put anistropic at "application controlled" and same with AA. then go ingame, and turn AA to 4x. make sure its all at HIGH, and hit apply. try again. if you still think it looks bad afte that: go into your my documents>battlefield 2>cache and delte the folders in there. and try again. I think thats right. But from the picture it doesnt look TOO much different than mine, just SOMEWHAT worse. put the image quality in the nvidia control panel at "quality"

You're right, that doesn't look right.

But everybody here is spot on...set your AA and AF in the nvidia panel to 'Application Controlled' and delete your cache.

After that, ensure you are running the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com

if there is no my documents>battlefield 2>cache folder dont worry. just uninstall your video drivers, driver cleaner, and reinstall the newest ones (if you dont already have the latest ones.)
