I don't have any guns but that's cause my p*nis is big enough.

I do have a couple of racing bikes and a nice car so I guess Frued would have something to say about that.

Mind you I'm lucky that I don't live in a f*cked up country where it's dangerous to go shopping or I'm paranoid when I go to sleep at night.

Oh yeah...and I don't have a wierd perverse fetish about equipment that is designed to kill people.

It's a game, that is what I see it as and that is how I play it. It always saddens me that games like this always attract gun freaks and kids that would love to blast away at some "real humans". Perhaps if you had done some time in the forces or police and seen the results of what these "sexy guns" do to "real people" you'd grow up a bit.

It's a game, not a fricken substitute.

No wonder media like the Daily Mail calls for an end to violent games when simpletons like you are running around.

Violent people will do violent things, regardless of whether or not they use a firearm. There's no limit to the ways in which one human being can kill another. Perhaps you would like to ban golf clubs and baseball bats as well, in the hands of a violent person they are both quite effective tools for crushing someones skull. You will probably argue that those aren't "designed to kill"; however if you think about it, they are both just modern variants of the first clubs our ancestors would have used to hunt and kill food, not to mention one another. They have simply been refined to be specialized at hitting a particular object in the name of sport; but in the hands of the right (or more appropriately, the wrong) person, they are easily reverted back to the deadly weapon that inspired them.

Only a complete moron would blame the implement used instead of the person using it. "Sexy guns" have never hurt a single person on their own, lot's of evil people have hurt other people and they have used guns along with many other items to do so. I think the true simpleton here is you.

Yea, thats why in Europe the average citizen is at the mercy of the bad guys. I am dutch and live in the US now, I'll take the US over Europe any time thanks. :)

Haha welcome to amature reverse psychology hour.

You are posting on a forum that's about a game where you carry big assed guns and run around a simulated combat zone shooting simulated bullets at computer projections of real people and you have the balls to say it's "just a game".

Pong is just a game. Tetris is just a game. Playing online against human controlled elements, and shooting at them is violent, no matter how you look at it. It might just be simulated, but it is still violence to other people.

If I had the urge to kill someone I would simply fly 2 long haul B744's into eachother. I could do that, I'm an air traffic controller. (See the ATC on the cap I was wearing?). That sort out almost 700 people right there. Given some forward planning I could do it over Cape Town's CBD and kill plenty of people on the ground as well.



As for your call for me to "serve time" in either the army or the police, you obviously haven't read some of my other posts, I AM a police officer. A part time police reservist volunteer, but still. I have seen the dirty results of almost every type of violent death you could think of.

It also happens to have very little to do with my firearms. I do own the Glock 26 as a concealed carry weapon for self defence, but the others are all sporting firearms. I don't hunt for fun, I will die quite happy if my firearms never do anything more than punch paper. The .22, the .357's and the 12 guage are only ever going to be used on the range, where it is safe, controlled, and responsible.

The 9x19mm Glock 26 I carry is for self defence. There is a vast difference between self defence and, as you put it, "love[ing] to blast away at some "real humans"".

I am willing to use lethal force to protect the life and body of myself or one I love. I have home owners and car insurance for my goods, my Glock is my insurance on my life and limb.

I can always buy a new stereo. As soon as they open a shop to buy a new life I shall think about trading in my self defence firearm.

rombaft, yes. Daily carry means exactly that. Those go along with my "specticales, testicals, wallet and watch" when I leave the house.

They all offer various different things. With the cell phone if I am in any danger I can escape from, or someone else needs help I can call the police/ambulance/tow truck. The torch is a SureFire 6P. Basically it's as bright as a Maglight 4 D cell. It can be used for signalling, finding dropped things in dark carparks, or to blind and intimidate an attacker. Not to mention allow visual identification of an attacker. The knife allows me to cut jerky, cut a safty belt in the event of a car accident, take stuck things out of wherever they are stuck, or be used as a weapon if I'm forced to. The Glock 17 magazine can be used as a kubotan non lethal weapon if I absolutely have to, so can the torch. It also provides back up for the Glock's original magazine. Mags can jam att he worst possible time.

Then there is the Glock 26 itself. This is a nice small, light weight, compact weapon that is a tough as nails. It is a very easy to use weapon. Once it is "cocked and locked" you just have to pull the trigger. There are no manual safties that can get forgotten in the heat of the moment, it is very accurate and it can get the job done. Include the glow in the dark night sights and you have an almost perfect self defence firearm. IMHO.

You might think this is overkill, however I do know some thing that most people are happy to ignore. Evil people exist, and they do evil things to nice people.

I am not willing to be a victim.

Most American men on this forum from their mid-20s on up, if they have decent jobs and aren't completely controlled by gun-phobic wives, will have anywhere from a gun or two to rooms full of them.

Those in the freer and safer parts of the USA will be more likely to have concealed carry licenses, and probably enjoy shooting more often.

To those in the UK and other places where people seem to have a knee-jerk reaction along the lines of "Oooh guns are bad! Guns mean you have a small ****!" I can only say this: grow the eff up.

Guns aren't a big deal. If BF2 has taught us anything it is that grunts are the lowest in the food chain. I'm saving up my pennies for my own hangar and a Sukhoi. Until that day arrives, this will have to do:
