    how much help would this give

    If i went from 512MB RAM to 1GB RAM

    and how good is this processor i have an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4CPU 3.20GHz(2CPUs)

    Not sure about the CPU, should be fine. I'm an AMD guy.

    When I went from 1GB to 2GB, I noticed a huge differences. Faster loading etc. But the biggest thing that I noticed was all the stuttering you get at the start of a new level goes away at 2GB.

    If you're willing to spend the cash for 2GB that's what I'd go for. I'd imagine 512 to 1GB would be a big jump. If you read around it seems that 2GB is the "required" for BF2.

      well it also helps knowing the video card. but i can safley say, that 512 to 1gb is a hue jump. you see, 1gb to 2gb is not a huge jump, it just gives you a more stable high fps. I remember on my 512mb, 2.53ghz pentium 4. when I went to 1gb I got like 80fps constant on LOW, with a fx5700. thats good fps. you REALLY should get the 1gb.
