I hope they remake ww2 maps for BF2 just like they did with bf vietnam! I think it will look good in the bf2 style! (they already looked real nice in vietnam with the bushes, grass n trees!)

Any word on that by any chance?

I was gonna buy BF1942 like last night because I wanted to play a WWII game but decided not to for these reasons:

1. I wasn't really interested in playing it online and as far as I know the BF series sucks at single player.
2. I'm hoping a WWII mod will be out for BF2 fairly soon.
3. I would probably only play it like twice before I started playing BF2 again, so gg save money :)

Just tonight I was thinking of getting a copy of BF:Vietnam on half.com and loading up the ol 1942. Think I will. See you all in hell!!! I mean the deserts of north africa!!!

In 1942 I play as allied forces cuz its the only time you can play as Americans and not feel bad about killing people who disagree. In BF:Vietnam I will liberate my country from the capitalist invaders!!! HAHAHAHAAHHAHAH!!!!

Id go back real old school Bf42 wake demo . Remeber my computer could barly play the demo :laugh: Then i entered an ATI contest and one of the prizes was Bf42 when it first came out . Played every BF game and major mod since . :evil:

I went old school when BF2 was having the problems with the login servers. BF42 is still a good game - I was surprised at how accurate the weapons were. It was like wow so this is what it is like to hit what you aim at!
