I was playing Oman and hanging around the AA shooting at airplanes. I had a captured tank sitting next to me that was damaged, but I was keeping it from blowing up and respawning from wherever it came from. Finally an engineer came and repaired it. I was probably 10 feet away when all of a sudden I died and it said the engineer teamkilled me, who was busy repairing the tank. So I'm like um... ok? And the engineer goes WTF? So yeah... I have no clue what that was about. No enemies were around. Just me standing there and him repairing the tank 10 feet away. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Maybe he planted a mine next to the tank and the empty tank moved ever so slightly (tiny slope?) and blew up the mine.

That's what I was thinking.

Side note: I still think you should be able to use the wrench as a weapon. If the zap-paddles can kill, you should be able to cave someone's head in with a nice solid wrench!

Good point. Defibrillators can kill enemies from 3 feet away. Surely, you can throw it at an enemy at close range, or club him in the face!

lmfao, hitting someone with a wrench would so funny. too bad theres no blood in the game... make some nasty blood splat and stick to the wrench too.

I like your plan with the tank. With what you said, it sounds like a bug I've never seen before. Hopefully this is what actually happened. If so, sounds crappy.

must have been a magical engineer......i dont mess with magic, so i cant say for sure.....but i hear some blck magic can be dangerous....maybe this guy was a sorcerror, or is in an evil cult......should've asked him these things....

my momma says engineers are the devil....
