Against snipers, it's very important to make that first shot a headshot, because if you don't kill them the damage indicator will tell them your general direction and even if you kill them with a second shot soon after they will come looking for you.

With medics, I find that if you shoot them once (torso shot), they will go prone, crawl around and throw some med packs on the ground. Take the 2nd shot before they have time to 'absorb' their medpack and it's another easy kill. Hehe.
Yeah, another reason I go for headshots is for the insta-kill. Because, I know that when I see my health bar go from full to only two bars, I immediately dive for cover (no, not bunnyhopping). With a headshot, you're rewarded with the kill and the thought of your "targets" reaction of just one second, running across the street, and the next yelling "MEDIC!"

Kinda off topic, but if you critically wound a person (in bf2 of course), then while they're critically wounded, you shoot them again, does it make them from "critically wounded" to "killed"?

I only use this when I play SF as a Russian or Chechen sniper...my regular M24 or M95 just don't seem right being carried by a Russian soldier. The accuracy is about the same I've found.

I read somewhere that when critically wounded you have something like triple hit points and if that is exceded, then you are killed. Not sure if that applies to bullets or just explosions.
