Any of you using virtualdrive 10 with BF2?
For some reason i can't get it working - have tried all the usual but getting nothing apart from "make sure the disk is inserted" - really i'd never thought of that!!!

Never heard of it.

I use Daemon Tools 4.03.

I have GameDrive 10 and it works just fine. Do you have the DVD or CD version?

I know it works for the CD version, you just need CD1. Think I used "Intelligent Extraction" and it worked but I believe you need to set it to SafeRom.

Am using the dvd version of bf2 - didnt know there was a cd version!!
Virtualdrive 10 i believe does both dvd and cd's games.
Will keep trying, if not will see if farstone has the answer though not holding my breath for an answer from them.

Download Daemon tools and all your problems will solve itselves. :p

Here's their support forum and actually believe it or not they're really helpful. Even when I was trying the demo they got back to me pretty fast. When I finally bought it, I think I'm entitled to 24-48 response.

As far as I know Virtualdrive 10 and Gamedrive 10 are equal. Wish I got the DVD version instead of the CD version...oh well.

daemon tools and gamecopyworld.com make all my games work without a CD. I'd suggest trying it :)

Yes, Daemon Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/) is an outstanding free program. I've been using it for around 5 years (I haven't tried v4 yet since I haven't found anything that 3.47 doesn't work on).
