IMO EF should have been free for those who wasted $ on SF, and then when AF comes out it should also be free for SF ppl.

Like the time i wasted my money on Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, I got a FREE DEMO for CS:S when the released the beta or something(Thanks Valve! /sarcasm). Oh man was I excited!

Seriously, when I bought SF, it reminded me of when I bought CS:CZ. :laugh:
If you bought CZ, you would know what Im talking about.

idk, im fine with just good 'ol vanilla BF2. But it would be cool to have EF and/or AF, but I just dont see it being worth $10.

I've heard that EF is a really good addition to vanilla. I will never know. At least not until it is given away. I feel that if I were to buy that would only lead to more booster packs sold for more money. Its a brilliant marketing scheme. Don't allow custom maps on ranked servers>Wait until people are bored to death of the same ole maps>Sell 'em new ones.

Yea, EA/Dice were kidding themselves when they said that there was "Positive Feedback" from the EF release. Like 9 people bought the booster. 3 maps and a crappy new European Force is not worth $10.

Thats not true, the total number is probably lower than sf but much more than you think.

And btw all I can play right now is smokescreen the other maps don't work and smoke screen is so much fun I think my 10$ was worth it.

Why do people think that because they are on a forum thats the total amount of users that own a game.

There are many many more not using the forums who have bought the game and the only people who have the full figures will be EA, so when EA say it was positive reaction to the sales they could well be telling the truth *Cough*.. :)

If you ask me, EF is like some beta test for Armoured Fury. My experiences with EF so far have shown me that the emphasis is well and truly on tank combat.

the mods couldnt get here any sooner. i figured it would be a good solid year before any of the mods (the ones i am anticipating) from the beginning, but man, i wish they would be released sooner than that.

i havent played this game in several months (4-5 maybe), only reason i keep coming here is so that i can read the mod updates and reaffirm why I can't stand this game (comparing it to bf42/bfv/dc).

EA shouldn't have to give the game away free.

But they should give it to everyone who has an ATI card just for screwing with those people.

And everyone who has IE7 for having thier heads up thier arse and not testing the downloader on it first.

And they should absolutely have to give to everyone that gets constant disconnects.

And just to show they care they should give it to everyone who has a decent computer, but the graphics still are glitchy.

OH WTF I guess then they would have to give it free to everyone wouldn't they.

Before ea is done buying up and aquiring contolling interest in other companies (like dice). They will have no competition left. Won't that be fun????
