[PROBLEM] Why is Euro Force not connecting?

2 days ago i downloaded the EA Downloader, put in my VISA details, downloaded and installed the Euro Force with EAD.
Everytime I try to connect to some Euro Force server it says I need to download and install Euro Force to play on this server. BUT I DID IT BEFORE! I launch it through EAD, so I assume it's properely installed.
And YES, my BF2 nick = GameSpy nickname! What may be the problem? BF2 and BF2:SF run properely.

I want my 10euros back :cry:

Go here C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels in explorer and see if the levels are there for a start.
I know its a pain, but might be worth reinstalling if your sure you have done everything correct.
I would also make sure PB is upto date.

The maps are there. I did reinstal all the BF2 (BF2, BF2:SF, patch1.12, patch1.12->1.2, patch1.2->1.21 and BF2:EF) and still nothing. I really would like to try the EF

Make sure your gamespy name is the name of the user for you account in EF. Then launch EF from the downloader. You need the downloader on to play.

You have to either change or create a gamespy ID to whatever ID you log on with in BF2.
ALSO you don't need the EA downloader on to play once you make ID match.

Thanks for the hints, but, please, read the thread carfeuly!
My BF2 name is all the same as the GameSpy name and I do launch the EuroForce from EA Downloader (by pressing the "Run" button in it).

What may be the real problem???
EA gave me no answer... I think I'm gonna really try to get my 10euro back...

If you have a file editor, open the Profile and make sure at the very top in quotes is your correct BF2 name.

i have a problem like this also. i connot connect on my own but if im already in a server and it switches to ef then i can play. its strange

Checked. There is my BF2/GameSpy name in quotes... what ale should i check?
