OK, now I've looked it up on a couple of sites now and found that to just get the basic Air Defense badge, you just need 5 minutes in a stinger or mobile AA. Well, in my quest to get all the badges, I've been back tracking to get the ones that I don't really care about (basic transport, basic air defense, etc.). I've now been trying for about 2 weeks. I've timed how long i've been in a stinger, in one round, at over 5 minutes...no badge. Then I thought, maybe the requirements are wrong and i need some kills too. So, over five minutes in the stinger and 6 kills I.A.R. and still no badge...can anybody help me out with this one?

To get Basic Air Defence Badge you need to be in AA or mobile AA for 10 minutes, not 5. My brother did it yesterday. 5 minutes is for ground defence + 5 kills. -

Should just be that. I did something similar the other day (was just about to rank up so i went for a few badges that i'd never bothered with) i wanted the basic ground defence, so i started mec on Sharqi and sat on the TOW at the middle start base, and sure enough 5 minutes later i had the badge. The only thing i can suggest is try again, sometimes BFHQ doesn't update straight away but 2 weeks? Was it definately a ranked sever?Comment
