Good job. Would you like a medal? It is fine if you pay server fees on a monthly basis, but an admin kicking a player for getting in a vehicle before him is just outright bs. Now, if that player got in the vehicle and just drove away leaving the admin player behind, I would warn the player then kick on another offense.

Right! If you want to spend $200/month for your clan to have their own personal playground, then don't run a ranked server.

It's their server. They bought it, they can do whatever they want with it.

Actually that is incorrect. All ranked servers should come with an agreement, and if the renter, of the server abuses it, the company has the right to remove access. Same goes with modifications which break the agreement.
Kicking someone for getting in a vehicle before you can result in removal of the server.

It's not BS, you wander in get kicked, don't go there again, it's there server they pay for it you are allowed to use it If you follow there rules, don't like there rules don't play there.

And as said above you paid for a licence to play the game not for the right to go on other peoples servers which they pay for not you and go telling them how to run it, if thats the case and your not happy with there rules rent your own server or play on the EA Offical servers which all have the sames rules.

I just do as I said I try a server and stick to there rules if they do things like that have been stated and I don't like it I find another server to play on.

unranked server - anything flies. ranked server - anyone flies

You may pay $200 a month, but guess what...that is to RENT the server from a trusted partner. You still have very much to follow the "rules" set forth by EA and BF2RS.com. So no, you can't kick someone that wants to shoot you with a tank while your clan is trying to stat pad thier knife badges.

Dude saying that it's stupid or outragous for people who pay their own money to let you play on their server, kicking you for something they don't like is OK!!!!!!

I personally don't agree with it. But as someone who donates the little money I do towards a server, I would expect I can do whatever I want. But I don't. I want people to play on our server. You guys are forgetting the whole purpose of the 'Favorite Servers' list in your browser. If you find a server that you can join and play on (whom somebody else worked for) they can do what they want. If you don't like it play somewhere else. I do. Moaning on some forums IS NOT going to change their opinions when you say "it's stupid" or "pathetic".

Just some advice for all of you. Again, I'm not saying I agree with the fact that people do this, but you have to understand why. Just like a store on the street. Everybody's open for business. Only, sometimes you find a store where the owner is a punk. You leave. You find a store that treats you like you're #1 (the way it's supposed to be). And you continue going there, avoiding the bad store. It's really simple.


The solution to this problem that EA/DICE hasn't made a system for yet? Make a whole new rating system for servers. A rating system which allows you to rate a server based on how you like it there. You can vote on how much you like the server.

so you pay to rent the server....you can do whatever you want.....that is in terms of:

a. map size, map rotation, rounds per map, and friendly fire on/off etc....

b. also it gives you the right to be an ass in the server too....like base-rape, spawn-camp, swear and use derogatory/racist words to other ppl....etc...

it doesnt give you the right to make it infantry only, kicking players who use vehicles or aircraft, limit certain vehicles or aircraft for non clan members

4. you join a server and find out someone straight away votes for you, when you done nothing wrong. And when you ask why they never reply? Juveniles.

This is a bug in the game, the person who supposedly is trying to kick you often wont even know it. I once had it when i entered a server, it straight away said i was trying to kick vote someone, this person got pi**ed and started tking me...

when i see kick votes, i ask why they are kick voting....i dont see the logic in voting unless i kno why.....so this guys like ****...i didnt do that....wtf...

also, i noticed a kick vote text when i entered....i said to all that i did not initiate the vote, that it was a bug and not to vote

troy no I was not saying anything about the server being ranked or right to impose them rules under the ROE, yes I agree they should be reported if it's against the ROE (which it would be if what he said they imposed) etc, I think you got your knickers in a twist there m8. :)

He also was saying no admins should make rules or in his words tell him how to play the game (He bought it so he should have the right to join the server and play how he see's fit), so in his own words EA are wrong for making the ROE?
and imposing said rules on all EA Offical servers?

Thats what I was refering to when I posted about clans who rent there servers should be able to impose rules (not against the ROE on Ranked server)
and he should when joining follow the rules or leave if he dose not like them.

All I was saying is if he didn't like the rules move to a different server or rent his own.

We run our own server and we (The Admins) do not kill for choppers tanks etc the people who get them fly, drive them etc weather they an Admin or not. If we see people tking for them we will warn then remove them period no exceptions.
